Harry Byron Schriever entered service with the 20th Engineers from Morrow County, Oregon. After with his unit to the United States, Harry was transported to Fort Lewis, Washington, where he was discharged.

His Honorable Discharge read "#255698, Private First Class, 15th Co., 20th Engineers. Service honorably discharged by reason of Muster out telegram AGO Nov 16, 1918."

"When enlisted he was 30 years of age and by occupation a Teamster. He had blue eyes, brown hair, ruddy complexion, and was 5 feet 9 inches in height."

"Given under my hand at Camp Lewis, Washington this 11 day of June, 1919. " Signed R.M. Martin, Major, Infantry.

"Entitled to travel pay to Lexington, Oreg. American Lake, Wash."

"Office camp supply Depot. Paid bonus $60.00 Tel. A.G.O. 2-25-19 paid in full $90. Frank J. Quinn, Major, Q.M.C. signed by a 1st. Lt. Inf."
